Anonymous D: Misunderstood in hiring

I have only been fired once, but I have been ‘talked to’ many times and I usually have no idea what they are talking about when they say I am not doing something. I have quit jobs because I could tell it wasn’t the right place for me. It’s incredibly difficult to get hired to begin with because places screen me out during the screening interviews. AuDHD honesty and my slow processing speed make it impossible for me to sound competent, especially on the phone. I do slightly better in person, if I can be honest about my limitations and people are willing to accept the weird that I am. I think I am a great worker. Early start times and too much sensory overload are often my downfall.
