IWORK4ME is delighted to announce appointment of Development Manager

Sue Hope has recently joined IWORK4ME as Development Manager.  Over the coming months Sue will be working with the Trustees to take forward the aims of the charity and promote IWORK4ME as a voice for supported self- employment in Scotland.

Sue has been involved in the voluntary sector, both on a personal and professional level for more than eighteen years.  She has worked for a number of Charities at local, national and international level, gaining extensive experience in all aspects of fundraising and Charity development.  Sue also has personal knowledge of self-employment and was involved for a number of years with Clydesdale Autism Support Group as a member of their management committee.

Sue is currently Chair of the Institute of Fundraising (Scotland) Marketing & Members Committee and also sits on the IOF Executive Committee.

Sue said of her appointment ‘I am thrilled to be joining IWORK4ME at such an exciting stage in the Charity’s development.  I am looking forward to the challenge of raising awareness of the possibility and advantages of self-employment  for people with ASC and building a range of services to help achieve this.’

Sue would be delighted to hear from anybody who would like to become involved in the work of the Charity. ‘As the Charity grows, it will be crucial to our success that we continue to recruit dedicated volunteers to assist in all aspects of our work.’
